Decentralized Human Resources Management
What is Decentralized Human Resources Management?
Decentralized Human Resources Management means that key HR functions are delegated to individual departments, units, or locations as opposed to being handled by one corporate HR department.
For example, a restaurant franchise location handles its own hiring, training, payroll, and team organization at that location. The location acts as its own HR management team, and therefore, is decentralized.
A Decentralized Hiring Process is when hiring is handled by individual teams and overseen by a larger HR department.
