Pre Hire Assessments
What is a Pre-Hire Assessment?
A Pre-Hire Assessment is a test that a job candidate can take at the request of a potential employer. These Pre-Hire Assessments can predict how well the candidate will perform in the new position, their personality fit, top skills, knowledge, and projected retainability.
Applicants may be asked to take an assessment when they apply or later in the hiring process.
Once complete, the potential employer will have a snapshot of the candidate that can ultimately assist in the decision process, helping to ensure you make the right decision in your hiring.
What kind of Pre-Hire assessments are available?
Cognitive Assessments: Cognitive assessments are similar to IQ tests and can enlighten employers on the numeric, verbal, and reasoning abilities of a candidate.
Behavioral Assessments: The goal is to pick candidates with specific behavioral traits that are related to the overall success in the job they are applying for.
*Pre-Hire Assessments can also be called pre-employment tests or employment screening tests.
