A Day in the Life of the Director of Development

If you’re someone who can take on a project and hit the ground running then this could be the job for you. Director of development is responsible for all projects surrounding fundraising, creating proposals, meeting with the board of director, coordinate events, implement all development plans to make sure annual goals are being met, encourage increase of already existing contributions, as well as making new ones.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is who possesses the following qualities

• Has proven previous background of fundraising management
• A self starter who is motivated office to make relationships with prospective donors
• Experience with team building
• Comfortable with several computer programs
• Obtains a Bachelor’s Degree
• Have some background in marketing/sales
