OI Infusion Services is a fast growing startup making an immediate impact in the growing and quickly changing specialty infusion market. Our mission is to transform the infusion experience helping all stakeholders in the process by 1) growing the practices of our provider partners, 2) saving patients out of pocket costs while increasing access to convenient and high quality infusion therapy services, and 3) reducing costs for payors and the healthcare system as a whole.

We are looking for a Billing Representative to join our growing team. You will play an important role in making sure patients are able to access their much needed infusion therapy.

Primary duties include the following:

  • Set up of all new OI accounts Insurance set up in all software applications.
  • Add group and MDs to all databases to ensure accurate claims.
  • Confirm EDI agreements set up correctly and perform test claim.
  • Pull new Medicare ASP quarterly and update spreadsheet and staff.
  • Write standard operating procedures and update as needed.
  • Upload claims and download responses daily.
  • Complete all billing in queue within 24 hours once nurse notes are received.
  • Work with nursing department for any missing notes or documentation corrections.
  • Rebill any claims not on file with payer within 24 hours of notification.
  • Submit clinical when requested to process a claim.
  • Maintain strictest confidentiality; adhere to all HIPAA guidelines/regulations.
  • Review, correct and/or assign claims returned by the clearinghouse.
  • Perform month end task and reporting.
  • Stay informed on new billing guidelines and implement any changes needed.
  • Monitor and track all claims to ensure successful transmission.
  • Manage billing and exception queues daily.
  • Bill all secondary payers and assist with patient statements and copay assistance.
  • Complete notes in all software applications.
  • Report any misconduct, suspicious or unethical activities to the Compliance Officer.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
