Qualifications:
• Experience in gynecology and women's health required
• Comprehensive knowledge working with EMR system is mandatory
• Excellent interpersonal skills, self-motivation, and commitment to patient care is required
• A strong personal commitment to and an ability to communicate about the goals and philosophy of CVRMC
• Successful completion of an approved nurse practitioner or physician assistant program (graduation from one of these programs requires a high school diploma or equivalency)
Responsibilities:
• A Women's Healthcare Nurse Practitioner is responsible for managing a number of patient care issues in an outpatient obstetrics & gynecology setting
• We require a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner who can provide comprehensive quality care including but not limited to annual exams, birth control and family planning, supervision throughout pregnancy, care during perimenopause and menopause, IUD and contraceptive implant insertion and removal, management of STI's, and urinary incontinence
• Performing and ordering diagnostic tests
• Diagnosing various health problems
• Analyzing test results or changes in a patient's condition
• Giving patients medicines and treatments and evaluating their response
