The Position:

As a Corporate Online Learning and Development Specialist, you will play a key role in the planning, implementation, and continuous maintenance of ThinkReliability's online training programs. This position will conduct ongoing training needs evaluations, develop training solutions utilizing various delivery methods, and assess the effectiveness of the solutions to help improve ThinkReliability's online workshop delivery. This position will also research and recognize emerging patterns, summarize results, troubleshoot issues, and provide recommendations for actions to address gaps and/or potential opportunities. The Corporate Online Learning and Development Specialist will also assist in the administration of ThinkReliability's Learning Management System and serve as the System Administrator.

Location: This is an in-office position located at the ThinkReliability office in Pearland, TX.

Position Responsibilities:

Online Workshop Coordination

  1. Provide just-in-time instructional technology support using virtual teaching and learning tools.
  2. Assist learners and instructors with problems related to registering for and accessing online learning by email, phone or in person.
  3. Assist with the quality control of courses throughout the year by tracking common issues, developing solutions to mitigate the risk of occurrence in the future, and documenting solutions in both instructor and learner troubleshooting guides.
  4. Develop, monitor and report on a learner experience survey to be used after the completion of each training.
  5. Set up new training sessions within online platforms and within LMS.
  6. Assist with course updates and improvements by sharing data collected from learner surveys following training.
  7. Package and distribute resources for learners for each training or workshop.

LMS Coordination

  1. Manage the design, configuration, administration and operations of a learning management system (LMS).
  2. Manage process to identify, test and implement technical and design solutions.
  3. Consult with stakeholders on the needs of the organization and best approaches for leveraging LMS technology in areas of content development, coursework distribution, onboarding, reporting, user feedback and document digitization.
  4. Define and establish standards to manage training content and documentation.
  5. Monitor technological changes and provide guidance to leverage new features, techniques and technologies to ensure the system is optimized and delivers a superior user experience.
  6. Conduct system training sessions for end-users, instructors and other administrators.
  7. Conduct audits to monitor training and compliance standards.
  8. Collect and report impact metrics.

Are you a fit?

  • Associates degree, required
  • Bachelor's degree, preferred
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a related role within a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working within an LMS
  • Experience working with a variety of online meeting and training platforms
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Working knowledge of HTML/CSS, preferred
  • Ability to problem solve, think abstractly, and comprehend complex ideas
