Accounts Payable Specialist

Accounts payable specialist is responsible for reviewing and processing invoices, matching purchase orders with invoices, researching outstanding payables and processing payments.

• Prepare analysis and account / payment reconciliations
• Review invoices daily in automated system V360 and process through to AX accounting system
• Create Payment journal print checks/ACH's/Debit/AMEX
• Mail checks signed review for any attachments needed
• Research any outstanding items or general request from vendors
• Work with Buyers on outstanding Purchase order discrepancies.

Minimum requirements

• Associates Degree or equivalent experience
• Exposure to basic accounting principles
• Experience with business computer systems
• Experience with basic Office software (Excel, Word)
• Professional phone interaction skills
• Bachelor's degree in accounting preferred

Abilities required

• Ability to use a personal computer
• Ability to communicate via telephone
