This essential role earns $12-$15 an hour, depending on experience, and typically works a schedule that is based on clients' needs. YOUR DAY TO DAY AS A CAREGIVER / CARE WORKER

In this invaluable Caregiver / Care Worker role, we rely on you to provide support for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities so they can live as independently as possible! You provide individualized support and guidance, and you walk closely with your participants and model appropriate social and behavior skills. You are happy to provide assistance with daily living activities that include showering, dressing, meal preparation, light housekeeping, companionship, and driving.

In addition to helping with the day to day, you take on teaching and mentoring responsibilities to help your participants learn and achieve new skills and goals. You are mindful to report any concerns about health and safety and are meticulous when keeping all documentation current. You pride yourself in being an active participant on our team, and take great joy seeing others achieve their daily goals and dreams!

REQUIREMENTS

• Can pass a level II background check
• Completed high school diploma
• CPR certified, first aid certified, or able to become certified within 60 days of employment
