Mavis Discount Tire - Accounts Receivable Specialist
Put your career into high gear with Mavis Discount Tire! We're looking for a full-time Accounts Receivable Specialist to join Team Mavis at our Operations Support Center in Millwood, New York. With over 825 retail locations, Mavis is one of the largest independently-held tire sales and automotive repair chain in the United States.
- Manage accounts receivable process from end to end
- Manage cash application making sure all cash receipts are applied properly
- Reporting of invoicing totals/aging totals/cash receipts/invoice adjustments
- Assure timely and accurate invoicing
- Assist in month-end closing processes
- Works effectively with development and operational staff to resolve receivable related issues
- Assist in monthly and quarterly balance sheet reconciliations

To be eligible for the position of Accounts Receivable Specialist, you must (1) be at least 18 years of age; (2) be legally authorized to work in the United States; (3) have the ability to balance numerous and varied tasks simultaneously, (4) possess at least 3 years of accounts receivable experience in a fast-paced, high volume environment; and (5) possess a strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
