Lewis-Clark State College (LC State) is accepting applicants to fulfill the part-time role of Dental Assistant Adjunct Instructor on the LC State Campus. The Dental Assistant/On-Campus Hybrid version of the Fundamentals of Dental Assisting training allows the complete theory portion of the course to be taught online while students attending the skills labs on-campus one time per week.

Responsibilities: This position reports to the LC State Allied Health Program Coordinator and will be responsible to teach classes online and on-campus for skills/lab sessions. The instructor will teach the Fundamentals of Dental Assisting will grade assignments both online and on-campus, classroom teaching, curriculum consultation, or for the performance of duties associated with classroom training.

Required Qualifications:

1. Certified dental assistant, Minimum 3 years of experience
2. Instructor can be Dental Hygienist or Dentist who has had Dental Assistant experience
3. Have evidence of completion of a course in methods of instruction or a train the trainer type program teaching adults or have documentation of experience teaching adults (or be willing to enroll and complete post-hire)
