A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A INSIDE SALES SUPPORT ASSOCIATE
As a Inside Sales Support Associate, you partner with the field sales team to drive territory sales and provide availability, pricing, financing, and product information. Though you are not involved in selling directly, your contribution is critical in achieving our sales targets. While maintaining positive distributor relationships, you support the development, implementation, and execution of the whole goods and supply chain process.
Using your customer service skills, you communicate effectively and follow up with customers. Staying organized, you maintain hard copy and electronic documentation supporting order fulfillment, distribution means, pricing, and contractual obligations. Monthly, you report on available productions, order backlogs, and reports. In order to ensure inventory and billing accuracy, you verify machine specifications against orders and invoices. Working with your supervisor, you resolve ordering and billing discrepancies that are outside one's control. You find great satisfaction in being the vital link between the field sales team and our customers, adding to the success of our company!
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A INSIDE SALES SUPPORT ASSOCIATE
- College degree in business administration, sales and marketing, industrial distribution, supply chain, or another relevant degree
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Experience using SAP (System Analysis Program) would be a plus. A background in customer service or sales would also be a plus. Do you have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal? Are you attentive to detail, organized, and self-motivated? Do you have great problem-solving and organizational skills? Are you patient and adaptable?
