Job Title: Senior Network Engineer

Job Description:

Document, monitor and maintain network hardware/software and configurations
Test, update and maintain backup and disaster recovery plans
Proactively manage appropriate security, access control and logging
Provide upgrades and installation projects as required
Proactively manage network capacity and performance
Evaluate, recommend and implement new infrastructure and network security technologies
Maintain and develop information security policies and procedures to meet compliance requirements and security best practices
Provide mentoring for other network administrators

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor degree in Information Technology plus 10 years of networking experience
CCNA certification required, CCNP preferred
Familiarity with ITIL Framework, ITIL Foundations certified
Must have advanced working knowledge of the various networking technologies including but not limited to:
- Cisco switches, routers, access points, and security solutions
- VoIP
- Server and Storage virtualization
- VPN
- MPLS
- 802.1x authentication
- Advanced IP and VLAN configurations
- PCI DSS security standards
