A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ASSISTANT CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER
As an Assistant Construction Project Manager, you help oversee a variety of commercial and residential construction projects from start to finish. Our lead project manager is confident in your abilities and entrusts you with various duties that ensure the smooth operation of our company. Your days are never dull due to the changing nature of your responsibilities.
Among other things, you develop estimates and budgets as well as work with the design team to finalize drawings. You coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, and crew members to make sure that a project comes together without a hitch. In short, you are a driving force behind a project that stays organized, under budget, and on schedule. Our workload flows quicker because of your skilled management. You enjoy seeing the results of your hard work and watching the doors open on a completed project!
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering or architecture OR 2+ years of experience in project management
Experience with Procore software would be a plus. Some background in MS Project Scheduling would also be preferred. Can you juggle multiple tasks at once? Are you efficient and organized?
