Qualifications


This ideal candidate for this role has a mechanical and electrical apptitude and is comfortable troubleshooting and problem solving issues on industrial equipment. The successful candidate will be capable of translating those solutions into Sales opportunites.


  • Past experience in a Sales Role with individual Sales Dollar Goals.
  • Previous experience in roles requiring technical (mechanical and electrical) problem solving aptitude.
  • Experience selling technical products or previous work experience in technical positions or a degree in a technical field.
  • Experience working on electrical controls (PLCs) for large equipment.
  • Past field experience working in plant production environments and/or around large equipment, particularly in a service, maintenance, or operations role.
  • Ability to develop sales strategies individualized to the customer and their needs.
  • Ability to understand corporate guidelines and negotiate projects and manage customers within approved corporate guidelines
  • Ability to travel at least 25% and up to 50% of the time
  • Creative, resourceful, problem solver
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Understanding of business concepts and issues including working within a corporate structure
  • Must have a high degree of influencing skills and be able to apply those skills at multiple levels inside and outside of the company
  • Position must be located near a major airport in US or De Pere, WI or Southfield, MI
  • Occasional travel to home office
