As Business Development Director you will be an integral member of the team reporting to and working closely with the Vice President/Site Manager, Mission Systems Division. You'll be using your experience and contacts to develop new business for the continued growth of the Mission Systems Division, as well as focusing on management of existing programs.
You'll be responsible for customer relationship management, business development, and contract negotiations. Your involvement will include cost, schedule, performance tracking, manpower, materials, quality, customer interface, and satisfaction.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Business Development experience
- Existing Navy Relationships (experience with local PMA's at Pax is a plus)
- ACAT 1 or 2 Aircraft program office experience
- DOD budget and budget execution
- Completion style contract task experience
- Understanding and experience with government contracts and procurement
- Military experience -preferably Navy
Your BS degree as well as a current secret security clearance will be necessary for success in this unique career opportunity. Direct NAVAIR or Naval Air Warfare center experience is a plus.
