Capital University Law School invites applications for four full-time, tenure-track teaching positions. We welcome entry-level and lateral candidates across all areas of law; subject areas of particular interest include Business, Tax, Contracts and Property courses.


We seek candidates who have a passion for teaching, strong scholarly potential, and a commitment to service. We encourage applications from candidates who will add to the diversity of our law faculty. All candidates must hold a J.D. degree from an ABA-accredited law school or the equivalent.


Capital University Law School is located in downtown Columbus, Ohio, a vibrant city full of cultural and intellectual opportunities. Following its long-established mission of providing broad access to high quality legal education, the Law School has a student body rich in diversity, including students from a wide range of backgrounds, ethnicities, genders, ages, and religions, as well as many first-generation students.


Entry-level candidates should apply through the Faculty Appointments Register administered by the Association of American Law Schools. Lateral candidates should submit a cover letter, curriculum vitae, and list of at least three references. Applications will be considered on a rolling basis.
