The Department of Education and Youth Studies at Beloit College in Beloit, Wisconsin invites applications for a one-year Visiting Assistant Professor position (non-tenure track, with possibility for renewal for a second year) beginning in Fall of 2021. The position requires teaching one or two sections of an introductory foundations of education course (psychological perspectives in education, and/or historical/philosophical perspectives in education), a teaching methods course (language and literacy experience required), and other courses based on the needs of the teacher education program and the department. The teaching load is 3-2.
Qualifications: PhD., Ed.D. or ABD in education. Teaching experience in US K-12 schools is preferred. Commitment to, and excellence in undergraduate teaching is required.
