ATN HR Consulting Firm LLC is looking for an eager and enthusiastic HR Assistant on a part-time basis to join our growing firm! We are a boutique HR consulting firm based out of the Atlanta, GA metro area. As a member of the ATN HR Consulting LLC team, you will be an essential part of the operational process that drives our business forward.

The Human Resources Assistant you would be responsible for assisting in the implementation and managing systems to ensure fair, consistent, legal employment practices in hiring, development , retention, health, and safety. You will also perform a variety of support work to help our operations run smoothly and service our client accounts.

We are seeking qualified candidates that have at least 1-2 years of HR experience, creative, extremely organized and detail oriented and possess an entrepreneurial spirit.


  • Works closely with the owner/Principal Consultant on all human resources issues and training
  • Documents policies and procedures for clients in accordance with their unique business needs and requests
  • Assists in staffing needs and recruits qualified candidates who are the right fit for the client's company's culture
  • Coordinates and assists with recruiting, hiring, orientation and training of new team members; Ensures completion of all appropriate paperwork for new hires.
  • Establishes and maintains personnel records on behalf of ATN's clients and ensures that all documentation and paperwork is completed for each team member.
  • Assists in coordinating training sessions on a variety of topics when needed.
  • Assist in planning human resources functions including meetings, annual conferences, team gathers, and coordinates open enrollment meetings for all benefit plans.
  • Assist in updating changes in wages, department, job titles, entering notes on disciplinary actions and evaluations, and entering new hires into the HRIS system in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Compiles, updates, and maintains Human Resource reports. Provides information as needed to support business needs, drive continuous improvement, and teammate engagement.
  • Maintains training calendar, assists in planning and coordinating training events, and collaborates with learning and development to ensure training records are maintained in the learning management system.
  • Refers clients and their team members to the appropriate resources/services, where applicable.
  • Supports and coordinates projects within the HR function that improve teammate experience and engagement such as performance management, succession planning, process improvement, and teammate self-service activities.
  • Supports Talent Acquisition team as needed by performing phone screens and scheduling interviews.
  • Performs additional duties as directed.


  • Prior Human Resources training and experience required.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding payroll, benefits, and employee issues.
  • Strong and effective verbal, written, organizational and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Must have proficient computer and technical skills
  • Must be detail-oriented and have the ability to prioritize and work proactively with minimal supervision to achieve deadlines
  • Must be team-oriented, possess a positive attitude and work well with others
  • Demonstrates excellent time management and follow-up skills with proven success in meeting deadlines
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Detail oriented and excellent organizational skills: accuracy is essential.
  • Experience with MS Word, Excel
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including some travel
