Are you curious about what makes people tick? Do you understand how to tell engaging stories across a variety of offline and online platforms? Are you passionate about connecting diverse groups of audiences with the stories we tell?
As our Marketing Fellow, you will learn not just how to work cross-functionally, but collaboratively across the Marketing department, as well as across the organization as a whole. As an emerging art leader, you'll understand exactly what it takes to educate, cultivate, and motivate audiences of influence in making the arts an integral part of their lives.
As Arena Stage's Marketing Fellow, you can expect to learn how to:
- write, edit, and schedule a range of social media posts and graphics
- track and monitor social media content
- craft and publish content for Arena's website and other online properties
- draft and edit a range of email marketing campaigns
- staff and support pre-production photo and video shoots
- support data gathering, analysis, and reporting
- support the planning and implementation of integrated marketing strategies to build and diversify Arena's audience
The successful Fellow will be curious, willing to roll up their proverbial sleeves as needed, have outstanding communication skills, be adept at managing multiple projects concurrently, and be willing to provide administrative support as needed. Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suites, Microsoft Office, and a working knowledge of Google Analytics and HTML is required; an understanding of social media mechanics, engagement and interaction is helpful.
Additional expectations: Occasionally, some evening and weekend hours will be required.
You might be interested in this fellowship if you want to pursue a career in integrated marketing, content marketing, or social media marketing.
