Warren RECC is looking to hire a full-time Electrical Engineer as part of the Engineering department located in Bowling Green, KY. We are also open to hiring December 2022 or May 2023 Electrical Engineering graduates! As part of a team of 160 employees, the Electrical Engineer provides engineering services, under supervision, to support the planning, construction, operation, and maintenance of the Warren RECC transmission, substation, and distribution systems. You will use applications such as spreadsheets, word processors, databases, and engineering analysis software. You'll work alongside the Senior Manager of Engineering daily, frequently consult with the Field Engineering Supervisor, and routinely consult and interact with employees in the Operations department.


Work schedule is 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm. Additional hours may be required. The Electrical Engineer reports to our corporate office located at 951 Fairview Ave, Bowling Green, KY 42101.


Qualifications for an Electrical Engineer

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Practical experience in design and trouble-shooting of power systems
  • Experience in problem solving in a team environment
  • Leadership
  • Valid driver's license
  • Utility experience is desired
