Viterbo University has an immediate opening for a Groundskeeper who is responsible for maintaining an aesthetically pleasing and positive appearance of the campus grounds and the Outdoor Athletic Complex sports fields. Perform maintenance on lawn, utility and snow removal equipment. Assist with miscellaneous physical plant project work.
This is a full time, first shift position. (7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.)
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum two years related work experience and knowledge in grounds care, snow removal and light maintenance required. Must be certified to apply herbicides and insecticides or obtain certification within one year of hire date. Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record. Ability to operate bobcat, forklift, riding mowers and other motorized equipment. Must be able to meet physical demands of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crawling, climbing and twisting up to eight hours per day and able to lift 100 pounds.
