(Seasonal - Basketball)

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum age 18 years

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for the daily activities of sport activity but not limited to: interaction with managers and officials, completion of required reports, calling for emergency assistance, reporting of scores, set up supplies for games and following league and city policies.

SUPERVISION:

Report directly to Recreation Supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS:

Responsible, courteous, good communication skills, good work ethic, work independently and good clerical skills.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Supervision of game sites
2. Check field for safety concerns
3. Set up required game supplies prior to games
4. Collect supplies and score reports at completion of games
5. Communicate with game officials
6. Make sure all games have an assigned official
7. Clarify league rules
8. Assist officials as needed
9. Communicate with managers and players
10. Enforce department policies
11. Assist managers and/or players as needed
12. Emergencies
13. Follow department policies regarding emergencies.
14. Communicate with supervisor and complete required reports.
15. Comply with City of Troy and Recreation Department regulations and policies.
16. Any other related duties as assigned by supervisors.

COMPENSATION:

Seasonal work hours are determined by league dates

STARTING SALARY: $15.00-$18.00/HR
