The Opportunity

Tooele County Healthy Smiles Dental Clinic is looking for a licensed professional who will be responsible for helping the dentists provide treatment and care of the mouth, teeth, and gums. This is a 3/4-time position working up to 34 hours per week with full benefits. This is an Alternative Funding Position.

Example of Duties

• Cleaning and polishing teeth.
• Instructing patients in good oral hygiene habits and after care for dental treatments rendered.
• Providing other preventative dental care such as apply fluoride, examine gums, and use dental instruments.
• Work chair-side as needed with the dentist during examinations and treatments.
• Chart patient treatment.
• Sterilize instruments, maintain, and clean equipment in clinical area.
• Other duties as assigned.
