Position Overview:

We are seeking an Account Lead to oversee and grow our consulting practice supporting a Department of Defense client (either OUSD, Air Force, or Army). Account Lead will have expertise in strategy and management consulting services and demonstrated experience in developing and expanding account relationships. Account Lead will be able to navigate and understand complex stakeholder environments to advise our clients, grow relationships, identify and capture new work, and scope and solution with Toffler Associates colleagues and clients. Responsibilities include:

  • Engaging key executives, senior leaders, and other designated stakeholders, acting as a trusted client advisor with a deep and strategic understanding of client needs within either OUSD, the Air Force, or the Army
  • Identifying what is required for the future success of a client organization, and crafting those ideas into new project opportunities to engage leadership and change their organizations
  • Expanding relationship base and opportunities for new work at existing client accounts and identifying leads to sell services to new accounts
  • Growing an account by identifying and responding to new project opportunities for Toffler Associates to apply its skills to solve client problems and manage related business development activities, such as proposals, capture, account teams, whitepapers, conferences, and/or other thought leadership materials.
  • Understanding complex and strategic consulting engagements with multiple work streams

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of consulting and business development experience in the Air Force, Army, or OUSD market
  • Demonstrated success developing and growing relationships and accounts
  • Ability to propose and assess capabilities of alternative solutions to meet program needs
  • Ability to work effectively with a group or independently
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, Master's degree preferred
  • Nice-to-have certifications include PMP, ProSci
  • U.S. citizenship (the nature of our work with the federal government limits our hiring to U.S. citizens)
