Work with the best crew on the island cooking some of the best Lowcountry comfort food. Become part of the team that ensures that guests have a memorable experience by delivering quality service and product to exceed guest expectations. You would be producing culinary offerings in any part of the resort for dining outlets, special events, delivery, takeout or other dining venues. You'll be responsible for food production, preparation, and cooking items according to menu plans and recipe cards. Sanitation and accuracy is critical as food needs to be handled and stored properly to ensure guest safety and satisfaction. A culinary degree is preferred but experience will substitute; frequently lift and carry 25 lbs.; standing and walking for long periods of time; be accepting of a varying schedule to include early mornings, evenings, holidays and extended hours. Reliable transportation and a positive attitude is a must.
