As you come through our doors, you'll find a welcoming and friendly small-town atmosphere where people connect over handmade food, coffee, and good music. During the day, our bakers whip up homemade flavors of cream cheeses, fillings for our squares, caramels, icings, cookies, and soups. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A STORE MANAGER
In this management role, you are the teams role model. All team members will look to you for direction and assistance. You get to showcase your teaching skills by providing the best training so team members gain confidence and grow in their role. Embracing our company cultures, you promptly provide exceptional customer service, quality bagels, and refreshing beverages while maintaining a clean and comfortable environment. The buzz of a busy cafe is nothing you can't handle, and you maintain a calm demeanor during high-volume periods.
You are a true leader and always maintain open communication channels. You are approachable and can lend a listening ear, and you coach your team through areas of improvement. Whether it's washing and chopping vegetables, sanitizing dishware, or cleaning floors, bathrooms, and surface areas, you will do what it takes to keep our store running smoothly. At the end of the day, you feel good about the leadership you have provided to your team.
STORE MANAGER QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to learn quickly and have stron interpersonal skills
- Ability to build relationships, and work as part of a team
- Previous supervisory and / or management experience is required
- Previous experience working in the hospitality industry is required
- Strong Management skills, organizational skills and communication skills are required
- Proven ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced environment

STORE MANAGER WORK SCHEDULE
This management position works between the hours of 6 am - 4 pm or 7 am - 5 pm, Monday to Sunday. Start and end times rotate weekly and may include early mornings, weekends, or holidays.
