Thanksgiving Point Employee Membership
Contribute to a professional restaurant management team helping to create a casual-professional and exceptional dining experience for our guests. Emphasis on, but not limited to, quality guest service, front-of-the-house organization and guest relations.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee restaurant operations:
- Ensure proper staffing each shift & adjust accordingly
- Ensure proper set-up and take-down for each position (Server, Busser, Host, Runner) utilizing checklists in back
- Table touch to ensure guest satisfaction
- Perform any comps/voids/discounts
- Validate all staff checkouts at the end of each shift
- Ensure proper cash handling
- Log all daily information: Daily Base Count, Sales and Labor
- Validate clock in/out times and hold staff accountable to their schedule
- Perform any necessary functions of the Manager when they aren't present
- Large Party Reservations:
- Call back all interested parties within 24 hours of their initial call
- Ensure all menus are set with Large Party Reservations 48 hours prior to their event
- Provide the kitchen with the menus at least 48 hours prior to event and notate/communicate any specials requests or allergies, etc...
- Call all booked reservations 1 week prior to event as a courtesy & reminder call that their menu choice needs to be confirmed 48 hours prior to their event (if menu has not already been selected).
- Follow-up 24-48 hours prior to event (48 hours if menu has not been selected) to confirm final head count and menu selection.
- Ensure proper communication to the MOD and kitchen regarding each reservation.
- Print off all necessary menus and have them ready to go 24 hours prior to the event.
- Follow up with MOD, kitchen and servers who helped execute the Large Party Reservation within 24 hours following the event.
- Follow-up with the Large Party Reservation 24-48 hours after their reservation to ensure their complete satisfaction and thank them for choosing to dine with us.
- Requirements:
- Candidate must have strong organization skills and 2-4 years prior serving experience with previous supervisory or managerial experience.
- Must have strong leadership abilities and communication skills to maintain a team environment and provide a great guest experience.
- Shift hours and days required:
- Monday through Saturday 10 AM 4 PM, (Closed Sundays)
