Thanksgiving Point Institute is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit farm, garden and museum complex that draws upon the natural world to cultivate transformative family learning.
Work with a team under the direction of the Set-Up Manager in all aspects of event set-up operations. Including: set-up and tear down of property events, moving table and chairs from venue to venue, room set ups, inventory of Thanksgiving Point assets, and upkeep of Thanksgiving Point facilities relating to events. Interacts with multiple departments on-property.
MUST BE ABLE TO LIFT 100+ Pounds on a daily basis. Team members will lift a variety of tables, stacks of chairs, plate racks, catering equipment, furniture, AV equipment, etc., as required for room set-ups and special events
SHIFTS HOURS AND DAYS REQUIRED:
Open availability with flexible hours. Day shifts: 8:00 am. To 5:00 pm. Night shifts: As needed per events. Saturdays: Varies from week to week
Must be able to listen and follow direction. Be teachable and willing to learn new tasks on the fly.
High School Diploma or Equivalent
