Position: Data Scientist
Location: NAS Patuxent River, Lexington Park, Maryland
Security Clearance: Must have a DoD Secret Security Clearance that has been investigated in the last 5 years. Must be a U.S. Citizen

SURVICE Engineering is seeking a Data Scientist to provide their statistical expertise and experience to our Naval Air Command customer in developing code/scripts to organize, analyze, and prepare flight test and M&S data for statistical analysis. Will communicate results orally and in writing.
Primary Knowledge and Skills for Data Scientist:
- Data Science/Data Analysis - preference for strong Python and/or MATLAB experience
- Statistics expertise
- Database skills helpful but not required
- Experience working in Git development ecosystem helpful but not required
- M&S experience helpful but not required
Experience and Education for Data Scientist:
BS in either Computer Science, Statistics, Data Analytics, or Math and at least 5 years' experience.
