Job Summary

Systems Technology & Research, Inc. (STaR) is searching for an Operations Analyst to support an Aviation Project Office located at Redstone Arsenal, AL. The successful candidate will provide program support in the form of program planning, scheduling, and reporting along with coordinating strategic communications across various internal and external agencies.

Minimum Position requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree with 10 years of experience supporting Army Acquisition Project Offices
  • An active DoD Secret clearance
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Army regulations, acquisition policies and procedures, and the Army's ETMS2 tasking system.
  • Army Acquisition experience preferred
  • Program Management experience with extensive knowledge of contract actions and documents to include but not limited to Statements of Work (SOW), Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), and Memorandum of Understanding or Agreements (MOU/MOA).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, work effectively and well with others
  • Skilled in interpersonal and intergovernmental communications
  • Familiarity of Microsoft Programs, to include, but not limited to Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, etc.
  • Preferred experience working with applications and processes used in Acquisition Management (Windchill, TopVue, Risk Management Databases, etc.)
  • Minimum knowledge of Adobe and SharePoint
  • Excellent organizational skills

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support leadership to oversee all operations of the Program/Product Office.
  • Manage office battle rhythm (meetings, agendas, tasking requirements, product development, and administrative documents)
  • Prepare and come up with new strategies to increase the output for the Program/Product Office. Responsible for updating/implementing policies or core working practices and should provide clear leadership and direction to personnel, as directed by management.
  • Keep accurate records of important meetings/schedule for the implementation of various Program/Product Office strategies.
  • Work with Program/Product Office Headquarters Staff to synchronize, coordinate, and support all Product Office actions and ETMS2 tasking and directives.
  • Coordinate technical development with other Project/Product Offices, other government agencies, and contractors to promote information exchange
  • Develop, write, and staff briefings to officials/groups in the Project/Product Office
  • Assist with daily and weekly reports to higher headquarters (Staff Call notes, significant actions reporting, and other daily/weekly reports as required).
  • Provide support in managing and drafting requirements, system specifications, SOWs, contracts packages, briefings for senior leaders, cost estimates, acquisition strategy, plan, and schedules
