Description of Role

SRI Telecom is seeking a Level 4 Telco or Broadband ISP installer with relevant experience to contribute to all areas of expertise with various cross functional project teams. You will be working daily in a cable headend/hub in the Florida/Georgia market helping to wire node splits, CMTS, CRAN and other projects. The successful Level 4 will work closely with the existing ISP team helping to run crews, setup jobs, gather information for install packages (EDP) and elevating the teams knowledge base. Fiber, RF and secondary DC power experience is required.


  • Be capable to perform industry leading quality integration services and customer support that exceed customer expectations - Basics
  • Identifying various types of installation tools, their applications, and safe usage - Basics
  • General aptitude in mechanical / electrical assembly - Basics
  • Addition or removal of non-powered or passive equipment / hardware as directed - Rack
  • Cabinet/Rack Installation - Infrastructure
  • Cable management installation including ironwork, cable rack, fiber duct - Infrastructure
  • Equipment racking & Grounding - Infrastructure
  • Cable Lacing- Lacing
  • Alarm/Coax/Ethernet Cable installation, dressing, connectorize - Wiring
  • Addition or removal of wiring and connections on non-working equipment / hardware as directed - Decom
  • Cable continuity Testing - Test
  • Basic DC power installation - CI
  • Secondary DC Power Installation (designated as power runs between the BDFB and End Device) - CI
  • Primary DC Power installation (designated as power runs between PDU and BDFB) under the direct supervision of a Primary DC power certified higher level technician - CI
  • Analysis of job documentation - PM
  • Situational understanding of job at hand and awareness to plan accordingly - PM
  • Provide work assignments to Skill Level 1 & 2 technicians - PM
  • Prepare a MOP - PM
  • Resolve issues with job documentation - PM
  • Reporting & Final quality inspection Manager
  • Signal or circuit modifications - Engineering
  • Software additions or upgrades - Engineering
  • Equipment/Hardware testing and turn-up - Test
  • Engineering & Design capabilities - Engineering
  • Advance equipment installation, configuration, and turn-up certifications that may include primary DC power, OEM, PMP, etc. - Engineering
  • Power transition work - CI
  • Addition or removal of batteries - CI
  • Addition or removal of circuits on working power distribution sources - CI

Skills & Responsibilities

  • Experience with construction permitting is preferred
  • Exposure to CATV design and installation processes is preferred
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

Work Schedule

  • Monday through Friday 8 am 5 pm in an office environment.
