Responsible for maintenance and repair of heavy duty trucks; must have own tools, mechanical experience with heavy duty/commercial trucks; operating overhead crane and/or fork lift a plus; able to work in high elevation and confined spaces.

Education/Experience:

• Basic mechanical skill level
• Owns basic hand tools
• Electric and pneumatic drilling, grinding power tool capabilities
• Recognize mechanical components and familiar with basic mechanical repairs
• Basic use of torch set
• Basic use of MIG/TIG welder
• Able to diagnose and repair problems
• Capable of driving, backing up semi-tractor and trailer; in yard and shop area
• Makes good use of time and remains productive
• Strong documentation skills
