What We Need

The Director of Learning and Development is responsible for partnering with the Client Success team to bring the organization's clients to value realization efficiently. This role is also responsible for improving the productivity of the organization's employees. This position assesses company-wide developmental needs to drive training initiatives and identifies and arranges suitable training solutions for employees and clients. This position actively searches, creatively designs, and implements effective methods to educate and enhance performance. To do this, you need to continuously evaluate individual & organizational development as well as client performance to ensure that learning strategies are effective.

What You'll Do

  • Create and execute learning strategies and programs that bring our clients to value realization as quickly as possible.

  • Develop and implement learning strategies and programs that advance our associate's skills and knowledge of our product, industry, and clients.

  • Obtains and /or develops effective training materials utilizing a variety of media.

  • Continuously evaluate individual and organizational development needs

  • Implement various learning methods companywide (e.g., coaching, job-shadowing, online training)

  • Design and deliver e-learning courses, workshops, and other training

  • Assess the success of development plans and help employees & clients make the most of learning opportunities

  • Administers spending against the departmental budget.

  • Train and coach managers, supervisors, and others involved in employee development efforts.

  • Develops and maintains organizational communications such as intranet bulletin boards and newsletters to ensure employees have knowledge of training and development events and resources.

  • Conducts follow-up studies of all completed training to evaluate and measure results.

  • Modifies programs as needed.

  • Exemplifies the desired culture and philosophies of the organization.

  • Works effectively as a team member with Client Success and HR.

Qualifications to Have

  • Proven experience as an L&D Manager, Training Manager, or similar

  • Current knowledge of effective learning and development methods

  • Familiarity with e-learning platforms and practices

  • Proficient in MS Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS)

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills; sharp business acumen

  • Ability to build rapport with other
