Accounting Supervisor

Pay: $32-$38 DOE

This position is: Hourly - Full-Time - Mon-Fri 8:00AM-5:00PM

Print NW is currently seeking an Accounting Supervisor for a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role will work closely with our accounting team and the Director of Finance to complete essential financial functions including AP/AR, tax audits, and bank reconciliations. This role will adhere to accounting internal controls and handle all facets of the accounting system.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Supervise a team of three other accounting members.
  • Prepare general ledger entries, maintain records and files; reconcile GL accounts and sub-ledgers.
  • Oversee daily cash receipts, bank account management and cash account reconciliations
  • Special invoicing and some AR duties including reconciling multiple merchant accounts
  • Prepare use and sales tax returns and calculate payments for multiple states
  • Review financial statements to ensure accuracy
  • Analyze data for trends and forecasting
  • Other duties as assigned by management

Essential Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years Staff Accounting experience and formal accounting education (BA degree or AA degree), or a combination of experience and education
  • 1+ years of managerial experience preferred
  • Result orientated, accountability, critical thinking, problem solving, project and change management.
  • Ability to handle the in-transfer of some accounting activities, to review and improve processes & procedures, and to train and improve the performances of the accounting team
  • Perform, understand, and communicate detailed information analysis and evaluation, and have a good track record working effectively within a team-based environment
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
  • Proactive, hands-on, independent, team player.

We use an MIS system called PACE by EFI which is specific to the print industry.
