Pleasant Grove City is looking for Recreation Class aid / Children's programs and Events. Able to teach classes outlined for children's programs, as well as assist in kids cooking classes and special events. Children's classes will be the main focus but a food handlers permit is required. Hours vary depending on events and programs scheduled. 12-20 hours a week. Position is classified as a non-exempt, part time employee. Hourly requirements are part time year round not to exceed 29 hours per week. Hours: Varying M-Th Morning to early afternoon hours

Salary: $10 to $12 an hour

Job Requirements & Duties:

• Cooking skills
• Requires food handlers permit
• Set up and clean up -Requires lifting of tables and chairs
• Being creative
• Assist in other programs when needed
• Required morning hours during school year
• Possible late afternoons and some Saturdays
• Summer hours -which will be mornings to late afternoon
• Required to wear proper attire to work such as: Blue work shirt with Pleasant Grove logo on it, knee length shorts, pants, no sandals or flip flops, no mid drift shirts.
