Position Responsibilities:
- Coordinate configuration changes with upstream and downstream stakeholders
- Assess impact of configuration change requests
- Create and manage line of balance for hardware and key equipment to support upcoming builds
- Respond to unexpected changes to ensure build and integration activities stay on schedule, on budget, and are completed with high-quality and documented build pedigree
- Coordinate with procurement, internal and external manufacturing to ensure that hardware priorities are well understood and are actively managed to support the need dates
- Identify schedule-critical hardware, equipment, people, and facilities
- Identify nonconformances or other escapes
- Identify risks and support the development of mitigation plans
- Develop schedule and budget; manage and report progress
- Develop and report key project metrics
- Lead Pre-ship reviews, ensuring hardware readiness prior to shipment
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Seven (7) or more years of experience supporting developmental programs in the fields of Program Management, Engineering, Operations, Materials Management and/ or Supply Chain functions
- Proficiency in identifying system enhancement opportunities, understanding end user requirements, and the ability to translate requirements needs into design requirement
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to work both autonomously and as a team in a highly demanding and fast paced environment; capability to prioritize multiple ongoing projects
- Proficiency in analyzing and ability to translate large amounts of data from multiple sources
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to interact with all levels of an organization including suppliers, team members, management, and customers
- Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity and or experience in building Program management tools and processes in the following areas: Integrated Master Plan and Integrated Master Schedule Project Management Professional (PMP), Lean/Six Sigma Certification, Earned Value Certification or equivalent
- Experience using SQL
- Experience in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems including the Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) and inventory control functions
Physical & Mental Requirements:
- Frequent standing, sitting, and walking
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds
- Continuous mental and visual attention (requiring constant alertness or activity)
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer using hands and fingers
- Ability to talk, hear, and see up-close and far away
