The Old Trail Swim Club is located in Old Trail Village, surrounded by the breathtaking views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Open seasonally during the summer. The facility has a unique zero entry edge, snack bar, pavilion, and infant wading pool. The facility follows all COVID-19 safety protocols.

Job Responsibilities Summary:

A swim instructor maintains safe swimming conditions throughout all exercises used in swim lessons in the pool and on deck. Creates a safe and positive atmosphere through being an energetic, positive role model that welcomes and respects all individuals and promotes safety in accordance with policies and procedures. Builds positive, healthy confidence in skills learned through effective listening, verbal skills, and creative solutions to tackle limitations presented by the learner to create a lasting understanding and mastery of skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certifications: Water Swim Instructor Certification preferred

1-2 seasons of previous experience as a swim instructor
