The City of Oak Park will accept Request for Qualifications/Proposals (RFQ/RFP) for a contractual City Prosecutor. The City Prosecutor will provide legal counsel/guidance to City Council, the 45th District Court, City Administration, and City Departments. The City Prosecutor is appointed by the City Council and is responsible for the performance of the City Prosecutor's office in the operation of City government. Duties require the exercise of extensive independent judgement as the City's prosecuting attorney, including the review of criminal and insurance related matters. The City Prosecutor represents the 45th District Court litigation and other legal matters in which the City may be involved.
