A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A VETERINARY TECHNICIAN

As a full-time vet tech, you look forward to coming to work each day and sharing your passion for animals with those you serve. Much of your time is spent assisting in surgery and assisting the Doctors during office appointments. Techs also run their own appointments which include drawing blood, administering fluids, training clients, treating ears, and administering pedicures. Techs are also responsible for cleaning/disinfecting the facility. Your positive, personable demeanor is evident in all you do, and you are proud of the role you play on our team. QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous Vet Tech experience
• Knowledge of industry tools and equipment
• Experience with proper animal handling and restrain
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Reliable transportation
• COVID vaccination

WORK SCHEDULE

This full-time vet tech position works 35-40 hours per week. Varying shifts are available from 8:30 am to 7:30 pm with rotating Saturday hours from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm.
