The Research Foundation for Mental Hygiene. Inc. is seeking a qualified candidate to fill a full-time position of Biostatistician in Mental Health Data Science division at the Research Foundation for Mental Hygiene in the Department of Psychiatry at Columbia University Irving Medical Center.


Specific duties will include the statistical analysis of clinical, epidemiological, and biological data. The position will include planning and performing statistical analyses and writing reports for various externally funded research projects. The position will also include preparing tables with results and drafting final statistical methods and results sections for peer-reviewed journal publications.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A Master's degree in Biostatistics, Statistics, or MPH in Biostatistics, Statistics or related field OR 4+ years of experience in biostatistics methods including techniques such as generalized linear modeling, multilevel and longitudinal models.
  • 1-2 years of statistical programming in SAS and/or R required.

RFMH employees may be required to be vaccinated for COVID-19 depending on work location and must provide proof of vaccination.
