Duties:

Support providers of the Chinese medicine discipline in being efficient in providing patient care.

• Sanitizing and resetting patient treatment rooms between treatments
• Rooming patients for their appointments
• Cleaning equipment used in treatments Supporting all disciplines
• Stocking treatment rooms with general supplies and linens
• Assist in entering medications or allergies as needed for patients Other General Clinic support duties
• Assisting billing department and front desk
• Auditing of patient documentation uploaded in EHR
• Assisting in maintaining clinic supplies stockPlease note there may be other duties assigned by your supervisor.

Requirements:

• Must be a current student enrolled at NWHSU
• Must qualify for Federal Work Study Funding
• Must comply with NWHSU PPE requirements
• Must have good verbal communication skills, written communication skills, and time management skills
• Must be able to assist in escorting patients to and from the treatment rooms to the exterior lobby area
• Will need to complete HIPAA training (must take prior to start of on-site clinic work)
