Position Information:

  • Reporting to the VP of Marketing, this position is responsible for leading all digital marketing initiatives for the institution. This includes collaborating with multiple departments and key stakeholders to understand goals and identify, plan, and implement digital enhancements.
  • As lead for digital strategies, this role is actively engaged in the selection of digital agency partners, initiating and prioritizing projects, proactively seeking opportunities to innovate and expand our digital footprint, and bring forward recommendations for using new and emergent digital marketing technologies.
  • The scope of this role includes the university website, all social media channels, blogs, landing pages, digital advertising, search engine optimization (SEO), keyword research and strategies, content enhancement and
    user-experience. The individual in this role will be accountable for conceptualizing, developing, tracking, reporting, and analyzing digital metrics, and recommending changes to expand and enhance analytics.

This is a full-time, benefits-eligible opportunity.

Position Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 5+ years of experience in digital marketing roles
  • Demonstrated experience with Google Analytics
  • Extensive knowledge of content marketing, SEO, social media, email marketing, and paid digital
    advertising best practices
  • Experience implementing and optimizing paid search and paid social advertising campaigns
  • Experience measuring, analyzing, and reporting digital marketing performance
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage own tasks and schedule

Position Functions:

  • Develop strategies for ongoing enhancement of website
  • Initiate and lead strategies with digital partners
  • Provide ongoing measurement, analysis, and reporting related to digital marketing programs
  • Develop and execute digital marketing assets to each intended audience(s)

Other Specialized Knowledge/Skills:

  • Proven working experience in digital marketing.
  • Experience in working with, and leading projects with digital marketing partners
  • Experience in leading and managing website development, SEO/SEM, marketing database, e-mail, social
    media and/or display advertising campaigns.
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that
    engage, inform, and motivate.
  • Experience in developing and optimizing landing pages and user funnels.
  • Experience working with e-mail programs such as Constant Contact, Mail Chimp, Emma, etc.
  • Working knowledge of HTML and web publishing.
  • Hands on experience with WordPress.
  • Knowledge of web traffic metrics and website analytics tools.
  • Strong marketing understanding to work with a variety of agencies and marketing team members.
  • Analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
  • Organizational and time-management skills
  • Highly effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Conflict management skills.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Suite of software.
  • Interest and aptitude in marketing platforms including CRM/Database Marketing Applications, Content
    Management Systems, Social Media, and other project management tools.
