Applications are being accepted for a research support assistant on a federally funded grant focused on anxiety in communities of color. This position is perfect for individuals looking for additional research experience prior to applying to doctoral programs. The research assistant will provide support for an IES-funded research project which adapts a school-based, group cognitive-behavioral intervention for anxiety in Black adolescents. The RA will receive excellent training and experience in all aspects of the study and have opportunities to collaborate with senior staff on scholarly activities. The research assistant will be involved in all aspects of the study including (but not limited to): recruitment, outreach, data management and analysis, manuscript preparation, and publications.

Applicants must have excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work with adolescents, and oral and written communication skills. Completion of research methods course is preferred.

Background Investigation/Justice Center Review Requirements:
