NetCentrics is seeking a dedicated Expert Integration Developer to support for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Office of Information & Technology (OIT), Infrastructure Operations (IO), VA Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6) Integrated Project Team (IPT). IPT is responsible for developing the master transition plan for all required activities related to its execution. Infrastructure Operations has a requirement to migrate hardware, operating systems, applications, and other elements of its IT infrastructure from Internet Protocol version 4 (IPv4) to IPv6.
The migration will ensure the design and integration of IPv6 technology across VA on-premises core infrastructure, network operations, support desks, and security systems, as well as VA Enterprise Cloud (VAEC) where applicable.
Primary Responsibilities
An Integration Developer must create strategies and plans for integration of multiple IT systems/subsystems into an operational unit, ensuring full functional and performance capabilities are retained. Coordinate with development and user teams to assess risks, goals and needs and ensure that all are adequately addressed. The expert integration engineer must be experienced in introducing new hardware or software into a new or existing environment while minimizing disruption and mitigating risks. The expert integration engineer must be cost conscience as well addressing goals. Must be proficient in some or all responsibilities:
- Provide a total systems perspective including a technical understanding of relationships, dependencies and requirements of hardware and software components
- Plan, implement, and document solutions to total systems or subsystems using internally created and/or commercial off-the-shelf products
- Analyze, design, test, and evaluate systems integrating Hyperscience (Configure/test/deploy data extraction for no more than 20 document types), upstream integrations, integration with Transperfect and Databricks APIs, escalate technical issues with the product support teams for the integrated products, and application layer support.
- Plan and implement data management practices to treat and handle data as a resource.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or equivalent is required. (4 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education.).
- 15 years related experience required
- Must have experience creating strategies and plans for integration of multiple IT systems/subsystems into an operational unit, ensuring full functional and performance capabilities are retained.
- Must have experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders and team members to assess risks, goals and needs and ensure that all are adequately addressed.
- Must be experienced in introducing new hardware or software into a new or existing environment while minimizing disruption and mitigating risks.
- The expert integration engineer must be cost conscience as well addressing goals.
- Must have experience creating strategies and plans for integration of multiple IT systems/subsystems into an operational unit, ensuring full functional and performance capabilities are retained.
- Must have experience coordinating with development and user teams to assess risks, goals and needs and ensure that all are adequately addressed.

- Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.

- Ability to get up to speed quickly on complex issues; desire to work in a fastpaced, rapidly evolving environment.
- Experience with the following systems/APIs: Hyperscience, Transperfect, Databricks, AWS Govcloud
- Capable self-starter with a drive to get all types of work done and high attention to detail.
- Excellent ability to communicate across most mediums and settings.
- Knowledge of military and federal employee populations.
