Title: Disclosure Representative (Mid-Level)

Location: Quantico, VA (onsite)

Clearance: TS/SCI

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and process foreign disclosure requests and propose recommendations to the Government per U.S. disclosure and release policies and guidance
  • Review various products for release, ensuring all sources have been identified and appropriate security classification markings are applied; verify sources against product content
  • Maintain record archives of disclosure requests and adjudications and respond to requests for data; propose disclosures or releases of information after technical and substantive reviews of information; advise on foreign disclosure policy and procedures in accordance with the Foreign Disclosure program; track and maintain records for decisions concerning disclosure
  • Apply a full range of knowledge of the policies and guidelines to review finished, disseminated products for eligibility for releasability
  • Provide recommendations to analysts on how to adjust their product(s) to make each releasable when appropriate
  • Work with the analysts and collection agencies to draft and submit releasable requests
  • Develop and recommend procedures, guides, and methodologies for the implementation of National Disclosure Policy (NDP-1) for CI analysis

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree, and 8+ years of experience in conducting analysis, with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years
  • In-depth knowledge and experience in IC and DoD policies and procedures for determining the releasability of classified information
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate understanding from information that may be incomplete, indirect, highly complex, seemingly unrelated, and / or technically advanced
  • Demonstrated ability to structure analysis based on trends in reporting and a range of analytic perspectives from other analysts, organizations, and intelligence disciplines
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal oversight and direction
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work with other IC members on information sharing, driving collection, and addressing analytic disputes and conflict resolution
  • Demonstrated ability to develop concise, insightful, and comprehensive products for defense intelligence
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams in researching multifaceted or critical problems
  • Ability to use argument evaluation and validated analytic methodologies to challenge differing perspectives
  • Active DoD TS/SCI security clearance, with the ability to obtain a CI Polygraph
