Clearance: TS/SCI

  • Provide in-depth knowledge and experience in using and conducting data analytics, data engineering, data mining, exploratory analysis, predictive analysis, and statistical analysis, and scientific techniques to correlate data into graphical, written, visual and verbal narrative products, enabling more informed analytic decisions
  • Provide incremental enhancements to tools, capabilities, processes, and methods; build high quality prediction systems; provide guidance in selecting, designing, and applying analytic methodologies
  • Write either R or Python scripts to drive data science workflows, have experience using SQL, and managing and merging of disparate data sources, preferably through R, Python, or SQL; statistical analysis; and data mining algorithms
  • Work with ambiguous information, deconstruct key questions, leverage spatial data, exploit application programming interfaces, suggest methodologies, develop data schemas to structure observations. This requires working knowledge of coding and scripting, information science, mathematics, machine learning, visual analytic modeling tools, and relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) to create repeatable, widely applicable procedures to support all-source intelligence analysis and production
  • Create and work in distributed analytic environments, scaling algorithms to work on increasingly large and complex datasets that are larger than RAM
  • Provides advice on emerging data science methods, tools, algorithms, training, or requirements to advance OCI's use of data science
  • Serve as the primary POC for data science expertise, ensuring tradecraft compliance and analytic standards as it relates to data science techniques on the contract
  • When directed, works with vendors and the software developers to implement distributed algorithms to work on increasingly large and complex data sets
  • Proactively retrieves information from various sources, analyzes it for better understanding about the data set, and builds Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools that automate certain processes.
  • Create various Machine Learning (ML) based tools or processes, such as recommendation engines or automated lead scoring systems

  • Bachelor's Degree, and 8+ years of experience in conducting analysis, with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years
  • Demonstrated comprehensive mission knowledge and skills that affirms completion of all developmental training and experiences
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate understanding from information that may be incomplete, indirect, highly complex, seemingly unrelated, and / or technically advanced
  • Demonstrated ability to structure analysis based on trends in reporting and a range of analytic perspectives from other analysts, organizations, and intelligence disciplines
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal oversight and direction
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work with other IC members on information sharing, driving collection, and addressing analytic disputes and conflict resolution
  • Demonstrated ability to develop concise, insightful, and comprehensive products for defense intelligence
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams in researching multifaceted or critical problems
  • Ability to use argument evaluation and validated analytic methodologies to challenge differing perspectives
  • Experience with data visualization and use of graphical applications, including Microsoft Office (Power Bl) and Tableau; major data science languages, such as Rand Python; managing and merging of disparate data sources, preferably through R, Python, or SQL; statistical analysis and data mining algorithms
  • Experience with large data Multi-INT analytics, ML, and automated predictive analytics
  • Active DoD TS/SCI security clearance, with the ability to obtain a CI Polygraph
  • Possess a professional or graduate certificate in data science from a university or major online learning platform (at any experience level) desired
  • As a contingency to employment at NetCentrics, all candidates who are given offers must successfully pass a background investigation including criminal history and reference checks
