Title: Audio Visual Technical Lead

Location: Fort Meade, MD

Clearance: Top Secret

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a team lead for engineering personnel and a customer liaison
  • Provide on-site support in the AV Engineering Team with video teleconferencing services primarily at main customer site location; occasional alternate or satellite site support and/or travel as needed
  • Provide client consulting and training on control, interfaces and use of the audio/visual and VTC equipment
  • Act as equipment custodian and perform inventory asset management and accountability functions
  • Conduct site surveys to establish AV/VTC systems and equipment customer requirements
  • Schedule AV/VTC sessions, maintain a call schedule and coordinate reservations and scheduling of AV/VTC services with outside agencies for executive level users
  • Perform setups, tests, adjustments, operations and shutdowns of equipment in support of AV/VTC sessions
  • Resolve system operational problems by troubleshooting and performing fault isolation
  • Evaluate, design, document, install, implement, test, maintain, operate, remove and upgrade; and modify video teleconferencing equipment systems
  • Generate daily, weekly and monthly reports in compliance with customer organization and contractual recurring and nonrecurring special reports; develop and implement metrics capture processes and procedures, quality control and assurance processes and procedures; perform other tasks as assigned and demonstrate proficiency, accuracy and attention to detail in assigned duties
  • Prepare, provide and maintain system documentation to include, but not limited to: technical documentation, drawings, electronic schematics, communications wiring diagrams, databases, user manuals and guides, floor layouts, lists of Bill Of Materials (BOM), rack face elevation drawings, schematic and installation specifications and as-built documentation, maintenance plans and training/informational materials

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology desired but not required
  • 5+ years of experience:
    • in managing a team of AV engineering and technicians
    • in systems design and integration of audio, video, control systems and production environments
    • in the design of network systems used for the transport of audio and video signals
    • of equipment connectivity, wiring, electronics, operation, installation of professional audio and video conferencing
  • Active DOD Top Secret security clearance
  • Experience providing life cycle refresh projections for AV/VTC infrastructure and AV equipment build out projects
  • DOD 8570 IAT Level II Certification desired
