Title: Help Desk Representative

Location: Washington, D.C./Remote

Clearance: Public Trust or the ability to obtain Public Trust

Responsibilities:

  • Provide Technology Service Support to the client in Washington, D.C. (remote at present due to COVID-19). These services include but are not limited to:
    • End-user software/hardware troubleshooting
    • Mobile device ordering, configuration and application installation
    • Peripherical support, e.g. printers, headphones, USB cameras
    • Computer/laptop imaging and disconnect/reconnect
  • Configure and troubleshoot Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) Software PCs, Macs, mobile devices: smartphones, tablets, printers, and multifunction devices

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma; Bachelor's degree desired
  • 5 years of:
    • Advanced level of knowledge working with various Windows, MAC, iOS, Android operating systems software
    • Active Directory User & Account Administration
    • Microsoft Windows and Office 365 applications
    • BMC Remedy Incident, Change or Knowledge Management
  • 3 years minimum experience in:
    • Supporting clients using remote access software and remote connectivity (VPN)
    • IT Call Center environment
    • Supporting Mobile operating systems
    • Supporting Microsoft Office365 Pro Plus; SharePoint, and Exchange Online
  • Experience interacting with executive-level customers and management an excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Experience with Mobile Device Management Console (AirWatch, Apple Business Manager)
  • Experience with Cisco AnyConnect and Remote SecurID console
  • An intermediate to advanced level of knowledge working with various Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android operating systems, as well as intermediate foundational knowledge of physical, network and application layers, tools such as the TCP/IP protocol commands for resolving reported issues
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet challenging deadlines
  • The ability to work under and without supervision
  • Ability to physically lift-up to 50 pounds of equipment
  • Experience with MS Teams, WebEx, and Zoom applications preferred but not required
  • Related IT certifications including but not limited to such as: CompTIA Certification, ITIL Certification, Office 365 Certification preferred but not required
