Job purpose

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the following duties: Conduct inspections, repairs, installation and alterations of air conditioners, refrigeration systems and related equipment; perform preventive maintenance and routine servicing of equipment. A Maintenance Technician will also provide superior customer service to the employees of our company and guests of Old Lahaina Luau, Hoaloha Culinary Center, Star Noodle and Leoda's Kitchen & Pie Shop.

Performance Expectations:

• Plan and schedule daily assigned work orders and prepare materials needed and equipment required
• Repairs and performs preventive maintenance on commercial cooking and refrigeration equipment and systems
• Disassemble and reassemble equipment to trouble shoot for repair and/or conduct preventive maintenance
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and gauges
• Explain service performed to chef or manager
• Maintains compliance with local safety regulations
• Performs other related duties as assigned
