JOB SUMMARY

SITEC provides support services as required for continuous operation of the Software Support Activity Software Production Facilities including complete lifecycle services for our customers platforms.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform systems engineering duties in architecting, designing, integrating, and testing aircraft and weapons 

• May conduct basic and applied research to evaluate adaptability of computer software and hardware to aircraft design and manufacture.

• May recommend improvements in testing equipment and techniques. 

• Performs the role of System Architect. 

• Makes recommendations about human-Human Systems Engineering 

NOTE:

• Senior level person may oversee the efforts of less senior staff and/or be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific 

• May also ensure project procedures and controls are followed, manage manning and staffing project efforts, and lead problem resolution 

• Interfaces with system or program Contractors, vendors, and Government representatives regarding the technical aspects of the programs/projects.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

BS or BA degree in a Technical Discipline. 

Cannot substitute years of experience for education.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Journeyman -Required Experience: 

• At least five (5) years of experience in Systems Engineering supporting DoD aircraft systems, DoD weapons systems, DoD mission systems or DoD support systems, consisting of the design, development, integration and system testing of computer hardware, computer software, and navigation, sensor, and communication subsystems.

Senior -Required Experience:

• At least ten (10) years of experience in Systems Engineering supporting DoD aircraft systems, DoD weapons systems, DoD mission systems or DoD support systems, consisting of the design, development, integration and system testing of computer hardware, computer software, and navigation, sensor, and communication subsystems.
